Costa Coffee was originally founded in London, England, by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa in 1971. From their small roastery in Fenchurch Street, the Costa brothers blind-tested 112 variations of coffee before finding their signature blend – ‘Mocha Italia’ which remains the brand signature blend to this day.

Today, Costa Coffee continues inspiring customers to love great coffee – with more than 3,000 coffee shops worldwide – and to promote global sustainability through Costa’s “Behind the Beans” – a programme aimed at creating inclusive working environments, investing in a sustainable coffee supply and reducing carbon footprint.
