Starbucks USA planning delivery-only stores

Starbucks, who are under the first few months of the new CEO’s leadership, have stated they are considering launching delivery-only stores across the USA. With the objective of meeting the convenience that consumers demand, the coffee brand believe these new stores will enable this by being increasing efficiency.

 

Starbucks USA have a portfolio of over 9,000 company-operated stores with over 6,500 licensed/franchised. 70% of the company-operated sites are drive-thru, demonstrating the significance the brand places on convenience for the customer.

 

Coffee and cafe brands have been partnering with delivery companies more and more; in the UK Caffe Nero partnered with Deliveroo in November last year, whilst Joe & The Juice and Deliveroo have collaborated in the UAE.
