Pret to cut further 400 jobs

After already cutting 2,800 jobs due to the pandemic, Pret-A-Manger will cut a further 400 jobs and close 6 extra stores in London following the second wave of covid-19 in England. 

 

The decision comes from the recent decision off putting London in tier 2 restrictions (where mix household are not allowed to mix). Sales have been at the lowest especially as workers still work from home affecting trade in the City.
