Majority stake in Chopstix acquired by QSRP

QSRP have acquired a majority stake in Chopstix.

 

QSRP are a Swiss-based restaurant group who launched in 2014. The company operates its own brands and is also the master franchisee of others. The acquisition of Chopstix will add the pan-Asian chain to the existing portfolio, that includes O’Tacos, Burger King, Nordsee and Quick.

 

Chopstix was founded in 2002 and operates in 3 countries – The UK, Ireland and Romania (- The debut store in Romania opened last month). There are around 150 stores globally.

 

In April 2023, Chopstix announced plans to open 30 new stores across 2023, in the UK. This followed news they acquired Chozen Noodle.

 

We also shared news that opened a new store in Plymouth (UK), in the Summer of 2023, but a new franchise parter: KK Foods SW.
