ASDA owner EG Group closes in on acquiring Caffe Nero

The billionaire brothers -Mohsin and Zuber Issa – who bought last year Asda and acquired last week the restaurants chain Leon are closing on taking over the Caffe Nero brand. 

 

The Issa brothers have already bought about £140m of the brand loans which puts them into a favourable position to take over the company if it were to default its debt.
