Indian street food brand Chaiiwala has expanded its footprint by opening a third location in collaboration with multi-brand franchisee Splendid Hospitality Group. The partnership began with a multi-unit development agreement signed in November. Splendid Hospitality Group already operates 37 KFC outlets across the UK and manages a large portfolio of hotels.
As part of this ongoing expansion, the newest Chaiiwala site has opened in Nottingham’s Victoria Centre. Earlier in the rollout, Splendid opened a drive-thru location at 76–78 Castle Boulevard and also now operates the brand’s existing Gregory Boulevard site in the city.
Chaiiwala co-founder Sohail Ali said: “Pleased to have opened our third store in Nottingham with Splendid Hospitality Group, this time at the Victoria Centre. Nottingham continues to be a fantastic city for us, and this latest opening builds on the strong momentum we’ve been seeing since the opening of our recent drive-thru in the city. The new store brings our Indian street food cafe experience right into one of the city’s busiest shopping destinations.”
