Wendy’s UK to add new franchisee

Quick service restaurant chain Wendy’s is signing up Blank Table as new franchisee for the UK market. The agreement will allow the brand to further expand in the east England. Blank Table has been recently launched by Aly Kachra and it believes it will focus on developing drive-thru and leisure and retail sites. 

 

In the word of Wendy’s chief financial officer, Gunther Plosch, the company remains “very bullish on the UK market” development and it is expected to open 35 new sites by the end of the year.
