Tropical Smoothie Cafe acquisition

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) – a Los Angeles  based middle market private equity firm- has acquired Tropical Smoothie Cafe. 

 

The brand – founded in 1997 in Atlanta – aims at promoting a healthy lifestyle by selling balanced smoothies, sandwiches and flatbreads with more than 800 franchise units across the USA. 

 

CEO Charles Watson and the current management will continue leading Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
