Time Out will no longer develop the food hall at the Waterloo station in London due to Covid-19 impact.
The company signed a lease contract in 2018 for a two floors, 32,500sqf which was supposed to bring in more than 15 restaurants. The plan was originally part of the “food hall momentum” experienced in the pre-pandemic London (as shown by several openings such as Market Halls Victoria, Market Halls West End, Arcade Food Theatre and Seven Dials Market). Unfortunately the pandemic has put a stop to this trend resulting in the Time Out Markets Central London’s decision not to proceed with the Time Out Market London development.
