Dallas Holdings, an existing franchisee of Pret A Manger (operating multiple UK based outlets), has signed terms to a new agreement that covers California and New York. Dallas Holdings and Pret originally partnered in November 2021 and, in doing so, acquired the four stores based in Oxford (UK) – this transfer became complete in Spring 2022. The new development plan will see the pair shift focus to the USA.
The proposed development plans will see Dallas Holdings open their first US based store in Q1, 2023, in New York.
The USA currently has over 60 Pret A Manger stores, with the majority New York based. There are not currently any Prets based on the West Coast, thus this agreement will see Pret A Manger’s geographical footprint increase as it expands across country.
