Pret A Manger agree initial terms for expansion into Israel

As part of Pret A Manger’s plans to double the size of the business over the next 5 years, the British sandwich and coffee chain have reached an initial, non-binding, agreement with Fox-Wizel Ltd. and Yarzin Sella. The agreement covers the introduction of the brand in Israel – the franchising and development plan will require 40 store openings across the next decade.

The new franchising company will consist of partners Fox-Wizel (contributing 75% of the investment) and Sella (providing the other 25%). Fox-Wizel Ltd. are a fashion retail chain and Yarzin Sella are a culinary restaurant group.

There is an expectation that a master franchise agreement will be signed in the first few months of 2023.
