Marugame Udon looking at franchising

The Japanese noodle brand Marugame Udon is considering franchising to boost development in the UK. The company already has 800 units in Japan and recently opened 2 in the UK (on Liverpool Street and The 02’s Icon Outlet); 2 more restaurants are planned to open by Christmas.
The brand is looking for multi-unit franchises to expand significantly in the UK market as well as joint venture business partners to  developing in the rest of Europe.
