Le Pain Quotidien to enter Azerbaijan after master franchise agreement signed

Le Pain Quotidien, the Belgian cafe and bakery brand, have signed a master franchise agreement with Sinteks Group.

 

The new franchise agreement will see Le Pain Quotidien enter Azerbaijan, with the initial stores set to be located in Baku.

 

The brand have opened stores in Greece, Luxembourg, Morocco and Uruguay, in the past year.

 

The Belgian brand have over 200 stores globally. The brand has a strong presence in South America (Uruguay and Argentina), the US and Europe.

 

Sinteks Group own the licence to operate Gloria Jean’s in Azerbaijan – this brand is an coffee brand based out of Sydney, Australia.

 

We shared news, last year, that Costa Coffee, the UK coffee chain brand, was set to see their first store open in Azerbaijan, in the Globus Centre shopping mall in Baku.
