Un des pionniers du concept de restaurants fantômes – Jean Valfort – vent de rebaptiser sa brand Dark Kitchen, fondé en 2008, avec le nom Devor, justement pour changer un nom devenu très courant et générique et clarifier sa stratégie et positionnement.
Avec le tout dernier store Bocca ouvert récemment à Nice, Devor va regrouper les 5 marques virtuelles déjà existantes: Saint Burger, Mama Tacos, Fat Fat, Holy Chick et Squeeze burger. Jean Valfort dit maintenant vouloir partager son expertise du sector delivery sur un format franchise où pas seulement le concept mais aussi la supply chaine, les process et toute le techno vont être mit a disposition du franchisé.
Une premiere franchise avec ce nouveau branding est bientôt prévu à Lille: la cuisine sera visible depuis la rue et on pourra commander sur place – en plus de la possibilité de livrer à la maison – et récupérer les produits par une fenêtre à guillotine (option bien conforme aux normes sanitaires en vigueur).
