Restaurant chain KFC is planning to create 5,400 new jobs in the UK and Ireland. The move is the result of boosting takeaway sales during the pandemic crisis.
The recruitment plan takes advantage of the UK government £2bn “Kickstart Scheme” which provides subsidies to youngsters’ recruitment across the country. It will focus on 16 to 24-years old recruitment and run until December 2021. The company has guaranteed the offers will be permanent with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
