The procurement division of Compass Group UK & Ireland have appointed a new commercial director. The division, Foodbuy UK & Ireland, have announced Carl Howells will be taking role, joining the company from Entegra (a sub division of Sodexo Group).
Comptoir Group
James Fisher has been apportioned Finance Director at Comptoir Group Plc. He will join the company in the Summer, from Wahaca, where he held the same job title.
Paulig
Paulig, the Finnish supplier of food and coffee, have announced they have appointed a new Chief Marketing Officer. Mariell Toiger has been promoted into the role, having joined the company in 2008, before being promoted to Commercial Director and then taking on the role of Marketing Director.
Loungers
Last month, Loungers, the cafe bar operator, announced they had hired a new CFO. Stephen Marshall will be the company’s new chief financial officer and will also join the Loungers board (effective of 23 April 2024). Previous experience includes CFO at Pure Electric, CFO at Nisbets and Finance Director at Dyson.
Adnams
Jenny Hanlon, the current Chief Financial Officer of Adnams, is to be promoted to CEO. Hanlon will become the first ever female CEO of the brewer and distributor. She will replace Andy Wood after the Annual General Meeting (held in June), after which Wood will remain with the business until the end of 2024 as a consultant.
